A great account of someone who has gone through a lot and has come out on top. A very well written personal story!
I couldnt put this book down. Heartfelt, Funny, Smart.A story of life thar everyone can relate to in some way. You are reading thinking I know these people......
and did I mention it is funny!
The experiences in this book come across as detailed scenes that make you feel like you are watching Ethan's life and sometimes are a part of it. A great collections of examples that are humorous and bittersweet, but always entertaining.
You won't be able to put it down. The humor is enthralling, the situations are at times absurdly funny, but completely relatable. It's rare a book reaches deep inside you, transforms the characters into real life situations the reader has lived, but this book does that. Don't wait for the movie (this really needs to be made into one), read the book and let the journey totally crack you up.
LOVED IT! Reading this has made me think of my own personal journey and how the decisions we make truly impact the future. I connected with the main character/ narrator of Ethan as he tried to find out what his "purpose" is. I also connected with Ethan because of his sense of humor and view on life. I was literally laughing out loud at times. Because of the odd situations Ethan is put in, I kept turning the pages wanting more. The voice in this book is what makes it stand apart from your typical "life-journey" novel. Through the style of writing and detailed descriptions, I felt like I was literally there, experiencing the laughs and struggles with Ethan. Again, a laugh out loud novel that keeps you rooting for the main character and his success.
This is a very easy read that is hard to put down.
Love the colorful ways that the Author describes what might otherwise be just an ordinary situation. Very entertaining, laugh-out-loud book!
Book of John was an entertaining journey. I was glad that Ethan had his "Oprah-aha" moment. Looking forward to part two!
